Follow the trail around town, spot the dinosaurs, and answer the questions for the chance to win some roaring prizes!

How to take part in the Dinosaur Trail

It’s easy to join in the fun…

1. Either collect a physical copy of the entry form from Glazed Creations, Ladds, or Royston Library.
   
2. Or, download the entry form and print at home.
   
3. Drop your completed forms into Royston Library or email your entry form to us at info@roystonfirst.com.

The competition closes at 9pm on Sunday 16th August 2026 and the winner will be announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages @RoystonFirst

Royston Easter Trail Competition Ts&Cs

• The promoter of this competition is Royston First, C/O Melbourn Street, Royston, SG8 7DA.
• The Jurassic Dinosaur Trail is open to children aged 11 years and under, who are residents of Royston, or in the surrounding villages. Parents or guardians of entrants must enter on their behalf.
• Strictly only one trail competition entry per child.
• The trail competition is not open to any person directly involved in running the competition or any relatives of the Royston First Committee.
• To enter the trail competition, participants must complete the entry form available to download from the Royston First website or collect in-person from Glazed Creations, Ladds, and Royston Library.
• Participants must find the dinosaurs displayed in shopfront windows in Royston town centre.
• Once completed, entry forms can be either handed into Royston Library in-person, or emailed to info@roystonfirst.com.
• The trail competition will run from Saturday 25th July to Sunday 16th August. Entries must be submitted by 9pm on Sunday 16th August 2026. Entries after this time will not be considered.
• A winner will be selected at random and announced on the @RoystonFirst Facebook and Instagram pages. The winner will also be contacted via phone and/or email.
• By entering this competition, you are giving permission for us to use your children’s name, age, and place of residence in the local press and online.
• A photo of the winner will also be taken for the local press and online.
• Royston First BID will not accept any responsibility for late or missing entries. Entrants must supply details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize.
• Royston First BID reserves the right to change or cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
• By entering this competition, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
